THREE STAGE
PROGRAM

  • Fall Stage

  • Winter Stage

  • Spring-Summer Stage

The first stage is conducted during the fall (September – October). It begins immediately after the conclusion of the summer season. During this stage, the players will be evaluated. Although we emphasize winning, this stage is mostly for observation, instruction, and experimentation. The coaching staff will complete a full player analysis. The players get an opportunity to gain additional game experience.

a.  At the end of the fall season, each player will meet the coaching staff

b.  Player will receive a complete scouting report. This will help determine the player’s goals for the rest of the year; and what the player and Strive coaching staff will focus on throughout the Winter.

The second stage is conducted during the winter (November – March). The twenty – week program is important as we pick up where we left off the Fall stage. It gives us the opportunity to work on a lot of one-on-one, individual-position instruction. During this period, conditioning will also be a major key in order to avoid injuries when we move outdoors.

a.  Players will attend the WinSport facility 1x per week (with the option to attend multiple times per week) in order to work on their strength training.

The third stage is the beginning of the regular season; what we had been preparing in the previous two stages. During the stage, we begin to focus on the team concept: emphasize team drills, fundamentals, and strategies.

As a member of the Strive Baseball Program, you will play exhibition games, tournaments in and out of Province, as well International play against other competitive teams, giving the Strive player’s great exposure.
